Omar Alkilani "SOLO" | Al Jazeera Documentary

The documentary short film "SOLO" tells the story of Omar, who traveled from Syria to Turkey in 2015, carrying only his guitar, which he considered the most important thing in his life and his sole passion. Omar began playing on Istiklal Street in Istanbul's famous Taksim area for three and a half years, eventually becoming one of the city's most prominent musicians. Directed by Egyptian director Mohamed Jad, the film, in Arabic, was awarded third place by Al Jazeera Documentary.
